Personal Individual Retreats for teachers and dedicated students Come and visit the beauty and peacefulness of the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington State , to take time off from the business of your life , and immerse yourself in Yoga for a period of days. Together we will explore the broadness of Yoga and work together on the aspects that are meaningful and helpful to you at this time in your life. At least two hours a day is spent in formal instruction in Asana, Pranayama and Philosophy. You also will be expected to do individual work and you may join me in my daily asana practice. There will be time to enjoy the unspoiled natural beauty of the island in a variety of ways during breaks. I will be resident on Lopez during the summer months of June, July and August, and welcome students for individual Yoga sessions and individual retreats. She has a degree in Occupational Therapy. She takes a broad approach to yoga and bases her work on Patanjali’s Sutras. She has also studied intensively with Swami Radha of the Sivananda tradition. Felicity holds an Advanced Iyengar Certifi cate. Lopez Island is a little paradise in the rain shadow. It has half Seattle’s rain. The inhabitants are a small community who are uniquely socially and environmentally conscious. Bicycles and kayaks can be rented in the summer.
