HOME IS
WHERE THE HEART IS
Dear Friends,
I wish you Joyful,
Peaceful Holidays.
At this time we all
have the opportunity, the challenge, to create for ourselves, for
our fellow humans and for the world, a more Peaceful and Joyful
future. Remember it is our responsibility to be the creators of our
lives, and if we make wise choices this enhances lives around us
I am feeling very blessed at this time. I am HOME.
When I arrived in the Pacific
Northwest I felt I was home.
When I moved to Lopez Island I felt it was home.
Now I have moved to a small cottage in the village of Lopez and know
in my depths that I am truly HOME. I am living in a wonderful,
creative community with many opportunities to follow my passion in
helpful way.
Most of us have so
many blessings in our lives. Expressing our gratitude daily for all
of these is a practice we want to cultivate. Guruji said “You are
all born in heaven but you don’t know it. “
I am also grateful to
Ascent Magazine and their reporting of the conversations that some
of us yoga teachers over 65 had at Yasodhara Ashram at the time of
Geeta’s visit last year. We were discussing what it is to still be
involved in teaching and yet suffering some of the disadvantages of
later years.
This visit and workshop was so
special because there were fewer than 100 students there with Geeta.,
and the Ashram has a very spiritual atmosphere. What a blessed
event!
May this New Year
2009 be a time of deepening your practices and experiencing the
rewards of that dedication.
Blessings,
Felicity
